Motorists warned of delays on M1 in Chesterfield area

There are currently delays on the M1 in Derbyshire after a vehicle broke down.

It has happened southbound between junctions 29a and 29.

Lane one is closed as a result.

Drivers are being warned to expect delays following the breakdown.

Normal traffic conditions are expected by 5pm.
