Chesterfield has a new man in charge of policing the area.


Ch Supt Roger Flint, who has for the past six years been head of the High Peak and Derbyshire Dales division, took over his role in Chesterfield this week.

Supt Paul Rouse became acting chief superintendent for the High Peak and Derbyshire Dales until a permanent replacement is found.

Prior to becoming head of the division, Ch Supt Flint previously worked on the division as superintendent in charge of operations.
