Gala proves a big hit

SIR — The 'Friends of Eastwood Park' Group is serious. Their first gala on June 15 was a great success.
In all my 80 years of living in Hasland I have never seen so many people in the park.
I spent three-and-a-half hours with the many happy smiling people.
